About me
I am Dario Schierloh, a German investor and a regular visitor to Zanzibar since 2022.
What began as a journey became an entrepreneurial opportunity: Today, I support German-speaking investors in their safe entry into the island's emerging real estate market.
I am active on site myself, know the local conditions through my own experiences and, like others before me, will support you personally from project review to contract execution.
No platform, no sales pressure – just honest advice, directly from Zanzibar.
Part of my work goes into the Pound4Pound Foundation I founded: a non-profit sports project that opens up new perspectives for young people in Zanzibar through boxing training .
Why DALALI?
Dalali originally comes from Arabic (dallāl) and means “broker” or “intermediary”.
Through Persian, it entered many South Asian languages such as Hindi, Urdu and Bengali, where it still means “brokerage” or “commission”.
The word also lives on in Swahili – as a term for “broker” or “auctioneer”, embedded in the urban trading practices of East Africa and thus of course also in Zanzibar.
Dalali tells the story of a word that connects cultures and builds a bridge between people and businesses worldwide.
